7th trip of 2023
Henry Horton
State Park, Chapel Hill, TN
September 17 - 20
We chose Henry Horton because it was highly recommended by Steve and Debbie and it did not disappoint.
Nice Restaurant, plenty of biking areas, kayak access, 2 kiddie playgrounds, golf and frisbie golf, skeet shooting to name a few attractions.
Rode both Lectric bikes 10 miles as well a towing a bike trailer for Aiden (or Bonnie-Roo)
The weather was perfect, low 80's during the day and 50's at night and no rain or humidity
Aiden was a trooper and he is ready to go "CAMPING" again
Bonnie-Roo took her "Squirrel" watching positions inside and outside of the trailer and kept herself busy as well
With the dog and our 2 year old Grandson Aiden, we were kept busy such as bike rides and walks through the park
We ventured out to a local dairy and had lunch which included on site made cheeses and ice cream Heidi claimed
it was the best milk shake she has had in a long time.
