Starting to get back into the monthly camping schedule.

We flew solo this time to Tail Water COE Campground near Collinsville KY.

Steve and Debbie unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute to tend to MURF's ACL surgery/recovery.

The weather was mixed, we were able to set up camp before the rain came in Sunday evening.

We had left over Chinese food which was a warm welcome to the cool/damp evening.

Monday morning the drizzle ceased and the temperatures climbed into the upper 60's

We enjoyed scouting around the dam and riding our e-bikes.

Since we were in the area of Kentucky, the water level in the lake was at record levels.

The adjacent state park and private yacht club was closed and remained under water.

We took advantage of the day to just decompress and enjoy our surroundings.

Dinner was grilled Tri-Tip with foiled vegetables with fresh strawberry short cake with Ice Cream for dessert.

The evenings cooled off and we enjoyed our camp fires each night next to the Barren River.

Bonnie-Roo maintained watch for squirrel and other wild life until it was time for her nap.

Tuesday the weather co-operated with clear skies and temperatures in the high 70's.

Early dinner included grilled chicken wings and corn on the cob.  (and repeat of the strawberry short cake)

Wednesday we stuck around camp and played ladder ball, corn hole and other table top games.

Decided to finish the leftovers for lunch and finished off the evening with hot dogs and ice cream cones.

Thursday was departure day, checkout was not until 4:30pm, However, severe weather including high winds,

thunder storms, and hail were expected later in the day through out our route of travel.

We completed packing up and returned home without any issues, Another great trip in the books.
