  May 3 - 7

Previous Trip

(Natchez Trace State Park Lexington, TN

Next Trip

(Pickwick Dam TVA Campground Savannah , TN)

Second trip with the Brinkley I-275 travel trailer.  Slowly getting it configured so it works for us.

Bit of a learning curve, because we downsized a bit and do not have the storage we once had.

Truck and trailer drove great and had zero issues this trip other than 1.5 days of scattered rain.

Paris Landing State Park is located in the heart of TN Tornado Alley.

Any extreme weather forecasts, Paris and Clarksville are called out.  Fortunately for us, the

weather was on the cool side and when the rains came, the extreme weather did not develop.

The campground consists of 47 water/electric sites, 10 primitive cabins,  and another 30 or so tent sites.

Across the main highway was the rest of the park including luxury cabins, tennis/basket ball courts, and

a very nice 18 hole golf course and driving range.

There were also various waterfront day use picnic and group shelters available at no cost.

The park's lodge was completed in 2022 and it is awesome.

We had dinner there and the food was very good and reasonably priced for being a exclusive venue.

There is a very nice marina and store adjacent to the campground and everything is bike accessible.

Steve and Debbie joined this trip and as always we did not go hungry.

Debbie fixed a Seafood Boil which included crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, potatoes, and corn on the cob.

Heidi and I responded the next evening with New York Strip Steaks on the grill with BBQ beans, and Caesar salad.

Some type of alcohol seamed to be present during the entire stay.

Bonnie and Murph, were either on squirrel watch or taking their siestas as we played various games.

Since we were near Paris, We were obligated to go and see the Eifel Tower.
