We endured the 90+ degree weather and enjoyed our second stay here at Defeated Creek COE campground along the Cumberland river.

Steve and Debbie was not able to join us last year so we made sure that got come and enjoy this spectacular park.

Our sites was very nice with plenty of green space overlooking the river.

Even though the weather was extremely hot, the cold beer, chilled wine, and margaritas kept us comfortable.

We rode our e-bikes all over the park as well as paddling around on the kayaks.

Steve had "MURPH" in the river and him doing some water therapy.

We all rode our bikes to the private swim beach at the campground and that was

really refreshing to be out of the heat of the day.

Debbie took care of all of the meals for us since we have been experiencing alot of

family issues so that was really nice of her to do that.

Bonnie worked so hard during her squirrel watching shift that she just collapsed and

took here nap under the picnic table.

Even though it was hot, we did manage to have a fire during the awesome sunsets.

The pictures really do not do the scene justice.
