  July 6 - 9

Previous Trip

Next Trip

We promised Aiden that we would take him camping once more

before they move to Columbus Ohio later this month.

We arrived at our site and it was pleasantly surprised of it's size.

The parking pad was wide and long, the picnic area was at least 30'x30'

and trees provided privacy to the adjacent sites.

We decided to stay close to home due to Heidi's Dad having some health issues,

and the weather is really unpredictable (hot humid, and storms always a concern)

Once we had camp setup, Erin brought Avery and Aiden and spent a few hours with us.

We enjoyed having Aiden with us even though he did have a few behavior issues that needed to be dealt with.

We enjoyed the water splash pad, the playground areas as well as the nature center.

We rode our e-bikes with Aiden the trailer and explored other areas of the park like the cave and other trails.

During one of the rainy periods, we celebrated Aiden's belated birthday (July 2)

The deer were not bashful at all and really did not seam to mind our presence.

All in all it was a good trip even though the weather was terribly hot.

This park is definitely worth coming back to, we still have not discovered everything it has to offer.
