3rd trip of 2024
Harpath River
Bridge
COE Campground, Ashland City TN
May 5 - 8
Continuing checking out the Corp Of Engineer Parks, Harpath River Bridge COE Campground was definitely a good one.
With only 16 total sites, We had to make the reservation back in November. All of the sites were waterfront sites and included
30/50 amp electric, water and level Concrete parking pads. Facilities did include 2 boat ramps and very nice shower/restrooms.
Unfortunately, use of the e-bikes were not needed due to the entire campground was only 1/8 of a mile. (see photo 1)
Steve and I then Heidi and I took the deuce coupe kayak out on the river and around the park's lagoon.
Weather was not the best, but the thunderstorms and heavy rain did not really affect our activities.
Steve and Debbie joined once again but unfortunately were not on the adjacent site to us.
We ate and drank and had a really great time playing games, watching the river, and sitting by the camp fire.
Bonnie and Murf layed around and also enjoyed being with their people
