2nd trip of 2024
Ragland Bottom COE Park, Centerville  TN

  April 15 - 18

Once again we beat the odds and had good weather, Sunny Skies and temps in the 60-80s.

Steve and Debbie joined once again and were on the adjacent site.

They downsized from the 29' COUGAR to a new 23' Grande Designs travel trailer.

Park staff was awesome and very accommodating and the park was well maintained.

Day 2 we ventured out with the electric bikes and tackled the 1.5 mile hill to get

to the main intersection of the park.  We patronized the Veteran owned/operated mini market,

camp ground, miniature golf course and Ice Cream stand.  Ice Cream was a nice reward after the hill.

Rain came through briefly during the early hours of day 3, but did not impact our plans for the day.

We took our smaller solo stove and enjoyed every evening around the fire and enjoyed the sunsets local wildlife.

Bonnie and Murf played and enjoyed tormenting the squirrels and chipmunks.

Last morning was really laid back. We enjoyed a light breakfast prior to the 2:30pm check out time.

Steve and I went to the day use area and discovered a very nice beach and another boat launching ramp.

Ragland Bottom is definitely a place we want to return to and bring the kayaks next time.
